What an amazing place!! A lovely family run restaurant. The atmosphere was perfect the food even better. The portion size was incredible and the flavours from the home cooked food were amazing. Taking my wife on date night here was the perfect time, great food, great company and great service. What more can you need? Thank you again to the owners you were great hosts.

We enjoyed great food here last night. I had the clams starter which was delicious, and the steak in a rich sauce with rice, all perfectly cooked. Five of us ate different dishes and all were very good. The house wines were good, and the whole meal was good value for money. Very friendly people, they deserve to do well.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and it was a truly memorable experience. The food highlights the very best of Portuguese gastronomy, with each dish prepared with authenticity, flavor, and remarkable attention to detail. From the freshest seafood to traditional specialties, every bite carried the essence of Portugal’s rich culinary tradition.
What made the experience even more special was the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff embodies the hospitality for which the Portuguese are so well known—attentive, friendly, and always eager to make you feel at home. It felt less like a restaurant visit and more like being welcomed into someone’s home

What a delightful little restaurant. Serving a mix of Portuguese and standard Italian cuisine, and all very well cooked. One lady was running the place on her own, both waiting and cooking. She is a great chef and very friendly too. It was very quiet for a Thursday evening, which was a bit of a shame. I'm sure if more people knew about it, the place would be a lot busier.

Had a superb meal in Bela’s House last night. The food was absolutely lovely and the guys serving were very very friendly and super-efficient. Such a nice place, couldn’t fault it at all. We were only in Grantham for one night which is a shame because I really want to go back for another Chicken Parma.

The owner was so friendly and welcoming. The food was great, my sons had typical Francesinhas and I had Bacalhau à Brás. The chocolate mouse was amazing as well 😊

I've been to Bela's House 3 times and never left disappointed. This small cosy place is definitely a hidden gem in Grantham. The food iwas absolutely scrumptious and worth every bite, even if it's means being heavily overfed. The food was always absolutely full of taste with a little bit of twist, seems cery hime made, served hot and pretty quickly.The portions are decent. The dessers are divine! I highly recommend the lemoncello cheesecake or tiramisu. Good wine card. The staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. The place also offers breakfast with home made croissants, vegetarian option available.- Parking
- You can park at Westgate however in weekdays it may be challenging to find a space, paid street park except for after 6 p.m. and Sundays.

I stopped at Bela’s House while visiting Grantham and I loved the whole experience. The pasta’s were well made and very tasty, as well as the Tiramisu dessert. Overall a wonderful experience and I definitely recommend it!

Excellent food and excellent service. Home cooked food in a cosy atmosphere. We liked it so much we returned the following night! Probably best to book as the place is tiny. This really is a hidden gem!

Second visit and the food and welcome was just as good. Took some friends who also enjoyed it. Great little restaurant run by a daughter and mother. Food tasty and plentiful and very authentic.

Very conveniently situated in the pretty main street in Grantham.The food was first class.The restaurant itself has a nice ambience,it happened to be quiet at the time,so.I can't comment on the atmosphere. Prices were OK,worth it for the standard of the food.

We visited Bela’s House last night for Valentine’s Day. The food was absolutely incredible. The staff were lovely, the atmosphere was relaxing and romantic. We had no criticisms whatsoever and will definitely be travelling an hour from home to visit again. Just fabulous. Thank you xx
